Y5 will be visiting Leighton Hall near Carnforth

Dear Parents/Carer,

Next term, linked to our topic ‘Where food comes from?’ we will be visiting Leighton Hall near Carnforth. During the visit, the children will find out where food comes from, how to scavenge for food and will have the opportunity to cook and eat their own food.

5HM will be going on Thursday 10^th November.

5TB will be going on Friday 11^th November.

We will be leaving promptly at 9:00am. It is important that your child arrives on time at 8:50am.

The children will be arriving back at school at 3:30pm. However, due to traffic this maybe later. You will be updated via text if we are late.

The children will need their own packed lunch, this needs to be healthy and include no fizzy drink. If your child receives free school meals, the school can provide a lunch free of charge. If your child has any allergies please complete the allergies part of the slip.

As the trip is outdoors, your child will require a waterproof jacket and wellington boots/suitable outdoor shoes. The children will still take part in the activities even if it is raining.

The cost of the trip will be £20. Please send payment by Tuesday 1^st November.
