11.12.20 End of Isolation Period, Non Uniform Day

Friday, December 11, 2020

Dear Parents/Carers,

Change to the End of Isolation Period

This afternoon, the government have announced that the isolation period for people who have had contact with COVID cases has reduced from 14 days to 10 days. This means that the children who have not tested positive for COVID but have been isolating, can all end their isolation on Sunday, and return to school on Monday.

Therefore, Reception, Year 1, Year 4 and Year 6 can all return to school on Monday 14th December.

If a child has a confirmed case of COVID, then they must complete their isolation period before they return to school.

Christmas Break

School will close after school on Friday 18th December and reopen on MONDAY 4th January 2021.

Non-Uniform Day – Friday 18th December

On Friday 18th December, we are asking to children to bring £1 to school for the Save The Children charity, who work around the world to keep children safe and healthy.

In return for the £1, children can come to school wearing their own clothes. This can be Christmas themed or fancy dress or may just be usual home clothes.

Home learning

The children will be given homework to complete over the holiday. Please support them to do this as we still have a lot of learning to catch up on.

Thank you for your support
