Home Learning week beginning 18.1.21

If you need to contact me regarding the home learning, the class email address is mrsellis@reedley.lancs.sch.uk. This will be checked reguarly throughout the day.

Homelearning activities will be set weekly and will consist of both written and online activities. Written activities are to be completed in the 'homework' book which was sent home in September with a pencil.

Online activities will also be set on Bug Club, My maths, Spag.com and Purple Mash (click images below for links). Passwords for these websites have been stuck in the front of the homework book.

Think of a main character for your story and give them a name. Write this as your title. Use the story map you wrote last week to help you write the beginning of the story. Mrs Ellis has shown you how to start and you can carry on writing the opening section up to the the part where no one spoke until after breakfast. Use the 2do 2create a story that has been set for you to write the beginning of your story.

Today we are looking at the importance of working as a team. Discuss with your adult what it means to work as a team.

Go through the story Starry eyed Stan. Read it aloud with your adult and then answer these questions. 

At the beginning of the story was Stan good at teamwork?

What made Stan realise that it is important to work as a team?

What did Stan do to work as part of a team by the end of the story?

Think of when you have worked together with someone as a team and complete the Mondays PHSE sheets.

Would you like flowers? Trees? A play area? Grass?

Think about what you might use the garden for.

Equipment- a ball, a bigger ball works better.

Today we are going to learn how to throw a chest pass correctly
