Below are video lessons for Phonics, English, Maths and Computing/RE. Please complete this and return any written work on Friday 7th May. If you would like to do some additional activities, I have set handwriting, spelling quizzes and maths games on Purple Mash.

Reading:

Retell the story of Peter Rabbit using your ‘Talk for Write’ actions. Use the story map below to help you.

English:

Tomorrow will be the Spelling Bee so I have set up lots of activities to practise your spellings. There is a Purple Mash quiz with all of the words on for you to practise spelling and below are some other strategies we know to help us with our spelling. Make sure you say the letters as you practise them. Remember, for the Spelling Bee, you need to spell the words using letter names, not your Phonics sounds. e.g. the = tee-ach-ee

Spelling Bee word list can be found at the bottom of the page.

Archived videos of spelling strategies used during lockdown (use these strategies but change the words to words in the Spelling Bee word list)

Maths:

Maths interactive game  - Select the number bonds level. Start with ‘make 10’. If you score above 15 you may move onto ‘make 20’. If you score above 15 again you may play any of the levels within ‘up to 10’ and ‘up to 20’. If you score above 15 on all the 10 and 20 levels, you may try some of the 100s but be aware, these may be quite tricky!

We have been learning about the Trimurti Gods in Hinduism. Today we are thinking about Hindu worship. How do Hindus take worship inside a Mandir and at home.

Read through the information on the Hindu Worship PowerPoint to learn more.

Watch the video clip- https://www.bbc.co.uk/bitesize/clips/zh2hyrd

You can download the RE task or draw your own symbols that are used in Hindu worship. Label your symbol and write a description to explain how it is used.
