Dear Parents/Carers,
Congratulations and well done on coming to the end of another week of home learning with your
children. This is not an easy task, especially if you are also juggling working from home yourself.
We truly thank you for the hard work you are doing to support your children.
Your child’s class teacher will be uploading some exciting tasks from the Lancashire English Team.
These will be out weekly and include access to a variety of free texts online and many activities that
you can do with your child over the week. You should be able to find the first week under the
‘Home Learning’ section on our website by Monday 6th April – Week 2 will be out by Friday 24th
April. Please do not feel you have to compete all of them – whatever you can do with your child is
greatly appreciated.
Each week, wherever possible, you child’s teacher will be contacting your child by telephone to
speak with them. This can be about the home learning they have been doing, the games they
have played or anything that your child wants to discuss. These have been going well and
feedback from teachers and children have been incredibly positive. We miss working with your
children and this is a lovely way to keep in touch and to let them know that we are still here for
them.
