If the attendance is below 90% then your child is classed as a persistent absentee. Whole school attendance this week is 93.7%. These four class had the highest attendance this week.

Punctuality Y2S Swan Class had 0 children late this week. They have only had 10 lates in the last 5 weeks and have will have their non uniform day on Friday 28th February. |
Sue Dean Writing Award Every half term children are nominated by their teachers for contention to win the Sue Dean Writing Award. This half term, the award goes to Fatimah Abbas from Y6H. |
Reading For Pleasure Each half term we put the children’s names into a raffle if they are progressing through the Reading For Pleasure Awards. Two children’s names are pulled out and they each win a £10 book voucher. This half term the two winners are Kyme Hussain and Umaima Ihsaan. |
Team Points Award The Hodder Team won the team points award for this half term. They will have their treat after half term. |
Road-safety I have been really pleased to see that a lot more children have been holding hands this week when coming to and from school.
If your child arrives in a car, please ensure that they get out safely. Some children get out in the middle of the road and into oncoming traffic. They should get out onto a pavement. If this is not possible, I would recommend that an adult stands in the road first to check that it is clear before the child gets out.
