Mental Health Champions

Thursday 21st September we selected two children from our school to atttend a training course to become Young Mental Health Champions along with other children from surrounding schools. Aleeza and Maliha went with Mrs Ellis to Whitefield School for the training. The training was run by the athlete and mentor Charllotte Hartley. Charlotte is a hockey player who has achieved gold medal in the olympics for England. 

The training was a mixture of practical and theory learning about mental health. We learnt so much that we are now bringing back to use to help other children at our school. Watch this space for the exciting project we are running coming soon.
