Newsletter 16.11.21 Mrs Bell's baby, ventilation, Children in need and thank you for a warm welcome
Tuesday, November 16th, 2021.
Dear Parents / Carers,
I thought I would just write to you with a quick update about a few things.
LOVELY NEWS!
Mrs Bell had her baby girl, Daisy, in the early hours of Saturday morning, only hours after finishing here on Friday afternoon! Daisy, who arrived weighing 6lbs 12ozs, is doing well. I’m sure you will join us all in sending Mr and Mrs Bell HUGE CONGRATULATIONS on the birth of their baby girl!
VENTILATION
As you know, we must keep many of our windows open in school to minimise the spread of COVID. The heating is on, but it can be a little bit cold or draughty sometimes. Please send your children to school with several layers on (a vest, tee shirt, school uniform and perhaps a fleece) so that they are warm and comfortable during the day. If they get too hot, they can always take a layer off.
CHILDREN IN NEED DAY
On Friday (19.11.21) it’s Children in Need Day. Children can come to school out of uniform to help to raise money. Please remember it’s non-uniform day and remember to send in your donations on Friday. Thank you.
WARM WELCOME!
Finally, thank you so much for making me so welcome at Reedley. Staff, families and children have all been extremely welcoming this week. I am really looking forward to being here for the next six months as the school’s Associate Headteacher. I will be here most Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays, and Mrs Gorrell will be Acting Headteacher on Thursdays, Fridays and any days that I’m not able to be here. I look forward to seeing many of you each morning and afternoon. This is the sixth school I have been headteacher of so, hopefully, I will be able to look after the school, its children, families and staff until Mrs Bell returns next May.
With my very good wishes,
Yours sincerely,
WE Tracey
