School will be closed on Thursday 13th May

Dear Parents/Carers,

As the exact date of Eid is unpredictable, we are unable to amend the day that school will be closed at short notice. School will be closed on Thursday 13^th May.

School will be open on Friday but if children are celebrating Eid on this day, your child can stay at home on Friday as an authorised day of religious observance. You must let us know that they will not be in for this reason, otherwise it will be recorded as an unauthorised absence.

Informing us of the absence on Friday

You can email Mrs Iqbal on a.iqbal@reedley.lancs.sch.uk . Please write your child’s and their teacher’s name in subject section. Or you can leave a message on the school answer machine. Please state clearly the name of each child and the name of their classteacher.

Homework

I am aware that classes have been given homework today. This does not need to be returned or completed until Monday 24^th May, as we do not want homework to get in the way of Eid celebrations this weekend.
