Dear Families,

Year 2 S.A.T.s (Standard Assessment Tests) Information

WE CALL SATs QUIZZES- please do not say TEST when talking to your children.

KS1 SATs will take place from Monday 16^th May to Tuesday 24^th May.

Our children are working hard in class to prepare for the tests which gives them all a chance to showcase the knowledge and skills they have learned in KS1.

These tests are used to help inform teacher assessment which is a judgement the teachers make about your child’s progress and learning in reading, writing and mathematics.

Please be aware of what is happening on each day of the tests (see timetable

below) and ensure that your child gets plenty of sleep, and a good breakfast, leading up to and during this week. Please also ensure your child is on time to school as the tests will start from 9.00am onwards.

Teacher Assessment Results

You will receive teacher assessment results for your child in reading, writing and mathematics with their end of year report.
