Autumn Term

Place Value

We have been working on Place Value. We have used different resources to represent numbers including base 10, counters and bundles of straws. It was great ordering numbers to a 100 from the least to the greatest.

2D and 3D shapes

We explored 2D shapes and sorted them into categories. We especially enjoyed counting faces, vertices and edges of 3D shapes with our partners. We found counting the edges the trickiest.
