The parents/carers of our children in year 3 were invited in on Friday of Art week to join our our art session. The children sculptured fruit out of air drying clay. They used different techniques, such as rolling and pinching to manipulate the clay to represent real fruit. Thank you to all the parents/carers that attended, we all had great fun!

Today, the children had a visit from Colin, who works for Burnley Football Club. He came into school to remind us how important it is to look after our teeth. The progrmme of study is called GULP which stand for 'GIVE UP LOVING POP' He taught us lots of infomration about what affects the health of our teeth and how we can look after them in the best way. This also links to our current unit of study in Science and DT which is all about healthy humans and animals. It was very interesting and the children learnt lots of new facts and information. It is extremely important to help your young people look after their teeth in the best way possible.
