Phonics
You will need a paper and pencil for your phonics learning. You will be recapping the new 'ay' digraph we learnt before the Christmas holidays. Watch the video and recap your sounds, practise blending your words using the 'ay' digraph and then spelling words using the 'ay' digraph. Use the following link to access the phonics video.

Once you have completed the above learning, use the following link to play the game 'Dragons Den' on 'Phonics Play' and select 'Phase 5' and then the 'ay' digraph to see how many words you can get correct in a minute. Good luck!

In English we will be listening to a new story 'Tiddalik'. Use the following link to listen to the first half of the story. (NOTE TO PARENTS - Please do not watch part 2 of the story with your child as we will be listening to the rest of the story throughout the week and learning will be linked in relation to this. Maths
For your Maths learning complete the worksheets 'Unit 10, Lesson 2, Children's Task sheet' linked down below. You will be recapping your learning of 'fewer than', 'more than' and 'equal to' when comparing 2 numbers. Remember you are comparing the number on the left side to the number on the right side.
Make sure you count the tens first and then the ones to ensure you have the correct numbers before comparing
Geography
This half term we will be learning about the 7 conitnents of the world. Use the following link to access 2 videos. One video will recap our learning about what are maps, atlases and globes. The second video will show you the 7 continents of the world.

Practise writing your lower case letters 'b' and 'd'
