English

Use the following link to listen to the first half of the story 'Tiddalik'. Whilst listening to the story think of words to describe 'Tiddalik', this could include his appearance, how he is feeling and what kind of character he is. For example green, big, thirsty, selfish, unfriendly, grumpy sleepy etc,

Use the words you have thought of to describe Tiddalik to write a character description. For example 'Tiddalik is a big, green frog who is always thirsty.' 'Tiddalik is unkind to his friends because he always says 'get out of my way'.'

Use capital letters, finger spaces and full stops to write your sentences. Use the 'sound mat' provided below to use your phonics to sound out your words.

Maths

For your Maths learning complete the worksheets linked down below. You will continue your learning from yesterday where you were comparing numbers. Count and write the 3 numbers and then work out which is the 'most' and 'fewest'. For example from the numbers 13, 9 and 24, 24 is the 'most' and 9 is the 'fewest'.

Make sure you count the tens first and then the ones to ensure you have the correct numbers before comparing.

Geography

This half term in Geography we will be learning about the 7 continents of the world and the 5 oceans of the world.
