Hello Chamois,

If  you are currently at home because you are isolating, you will need to complete all daily tasks. Mrs Hardman and Mrs Butt will be calling you to discuss your work.

It is important for you to email your work to us. Once we receive your work we will email you your feedback and discuss your work with you when we phone you.

Day One

K.L. Retrieve and record.

At the bottom of the screen I want you to download today’s text, Dear Humans and your work. Read the text carefully and answer the questions, which are at the bottom of the text. Remember the answers to the questions are in the text. This activity will take you 30 minutes.

Spelling

K.L. ibly and ably.

I want you to log on to ed-shed and practice the spellings ending in -ibly and ably. Make sure you read each word carefully. This activity will take you 15 minutes.

I want you to watch the clip below and write an evaluation of the toy- the Boxer robot.

I want you to include who would play with the Boxer Robot and why. Is it a good toy ? If you think it is or not, I want you to explain why? Remember to write in grammatically correct sentences and neat joined up handwriting.

K.L: Identify the value of each digit to three decimal places.

This week we ar revisiting place value. Before you complete the work I want you to follow the power point and complete each activity. Your tasks are ready for you to download in the file section. Complete each question in your homework book. To help you I have included a place value grid. You can either draw the grid or dowload it and write the numbers in the grid. Remember to be aware of the decimal point.

This text should take you 60 minutes for you to complete.

Art

K.L. To investigate abstract painters and to research and examine different surfaces of planets.

Task 1

Look carefully at the images on today’s power point and answer the questions below.

How do the pictures make you feel?

What do you like about them?

What’s different to other art?

Task 2

Research and Examine’ –

 I want you to research different artists (below) and their work. I want you to then create a presentation about these particular abstract artists and their work. In the file section there is a worksheet for you to download and look at the pictures of each artist.
