We have explored the features of a formal letter. Today, your task is to write a formal letter to the Wizard of Oz, as one of the characters (Dorothy, Scarecrow, Tinman or Lion), asking for his help (to get you back home, give you a brain, a heart or courage). There is a 2do set on Purple Mash where you can type your letter, or you can write it (using your neat, joined up handwriting) and bring it to school on Monday. There is a word mat and knowledge organiser which you can download to help you.
